Ingredients

    THIS MAKES ONE SERVING!

    * Leeks, 2 leek
    * *Canola Oil, 1 1tsp
    * Pacific Natural Foods Organic Free Range Chicken Broth, 1 cup, .5 serving
    * raw cane sugar, 2 tsp

Directions

Trim, wash and quarter the leeks lengthwise.
In a medium skillet with a lid, heat the oil over medium heat.
Add the leeks and the chicken broth. Cover and braise, stirring occasionally, for 12 minutes or until the leeks are tender.
Remove the lid, cook for about 10 minutes, or until the broth is almost evaporated.
increase heat to high and sprinkle the sugar over the leeks.
Cook, stirring frequently, for another 10 minutes or until the leeks are lightly caramelized.
Serve immediately.
