Braised Shredded Chicken

Introduction

I Pan roast skinless and boneless Chicken Breasts this way and shred them fine to use either a part of a Salad or in a Sandwich made from Whole Grain Bread,Lettuce Leaf, thinly sliced Cucumber ,Tomato and Green Bell Pepper rounds with 1 pat of unsalted Butter and a pinch each of Salt and Pepper.Filling and satisfying. Ingredients

    500 gms.Skinless,Boneless Chicken Breasts
    2 tbsps.Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
    1tbsp.Malt/Cider/Balsamic Vinegar
    1tsp.Black Pepper Powder
    1 small Pat Unsalted Butter
    Salt to taste

Directions

PREPARATION
Wash the Chicken and pat dry.Marinate in the Worcestershire Sauce,Vinegar,Black Pepper Powder and Salt for 1 hour.
METHOD
Spread half the Butter on the bottom of a heavy bottomed Pan.Lay the Chicken Pieces on it.Melt the remaining Butter and brush over the top.Cover and gently steam on low flame , basting the Chicken with the Marinade regularly to brown and turn these pieces around to cook evenly.When done, cool to room temprature and shred.Store in the "Fridge and use as desired.
