Introduction

Cooking oatmeal with all these goodies helps keep you satisfied just a bit longer than usual.

I find that I do not need to sprinkle a packet of splenda after each layer of oatmeal. I don't need to add anything further. It's sweet now just by cooking the sugars in WITH the oatmeal.

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
    1 tbsp Splenda
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1 tsp light butter

Directions

Bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil. Add 1/2 cup dry oats, 1 tbsp splenda, 1 tbsp brown sugar and 1 tsp light butter.

Boil to desired consistency - about 1 minute.
