Ingredients

Whole Wheat Pasta, 8 oz (elbow, spiral or penne works well)
Onions, 1.5 cups
Butter, salted, 1 tbsp
Milk, 1%, 1 cup
Whole Wheat Flour, 2 tbsp
Emek Light Cheese 9% (or any low-fat cheese), 150 gram(s)
Peas, frozen, 1 cup
Tuna, Canned in Water, 1 can
2 tsp basil
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp tumeric (optional; for color).
Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain, .2 tbsp
Directions
1. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
2. In a separate small sauce pan, melt the butter. Sautee the onions in the butter until translucent. Mix in the milk and whole wheat flour. Stir until thickens.
3. Remove from heat and mix in the cheese; stir till melted. Add in basil, paprika, and tumeric . Mix with hot pasta, peas, and tuna. Spread into a glass baking dish (about 12" by 12"). Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
4. Bake for 15 minutes or until top is crunchy.
