-6 medium Idaho Potatos
-1 small onion
-2 chicken boullion cubes
-1 pound of Honeysuckle Sweet Italian Sausage Links
-1 tsp of Crushed Red Pepper
-1 tsp of Minced Garlic
-4 slices of Turkey Bacon or Bacon Bits
-6 cups of water
-3 cups of Skim Milk
-2 or 3 leaves of Kale
2. In seperate pan brown sausage (remove from casings), garlic, and crushed red pepper. Once cooked through set aside.
3. Once potatos are tender, reduce heat and add sausage, bacon, milk.
4. Remove from heat and add kale torn into bite size pieces. Do not boil with kale in soup as it will make it soggy.
Makes approximately 8 1 cup servings.
