IntroductionThis is a egg-less living food recipe with no preservatives. Will make about 3 cups of dressing and last for one week in the fridge. 5 tbsp raw tahini
1/2 c pine nuts * I use 1 c cashews that I soaked for an hour and drained, and that is what the cal count is based on.
2 tbsp Tamarind paste (optional)
1 clove Garlic* I used three cloves in mine
2 green onions or 1/4c sweet onion
1 Lemon juiced
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp maple syrup or Agave or 3 soft dates
3 tbsp nutritional yeast * I will only use one next time* experiment to suit your taste.
3 teaspoons of fresh cracked pepper
2 teaspoons sea salt
2 tbsp of good olive oil ( optional)
Water 2 tbsp at a time as necessary to create a smooth creamy texture.
If this is to tangy for your taste add the olive oil. Olive oil is included in the calorie count.
this yields about 3 cups of dressing, serving size is 2 tbsp.
P.S. I could not find the cal count for raw cashew and tried 3 times to put it in and got errors. This trader joe's cal count was 10 cals higher than the raw cashews
