Ingredients

    1 pound red kidney beans picked over washed and soaked over night
    1 large onion finely diced
    6 cloves garlic minced
    1/4 cup black strap molasses
    1 Tb apple cider vinegar
    1 Tb brags liquid aminos ( could sub soy sauce )
    1 t sea salt ( more if you chose )
    1 tsp cumin

Directions

pick over wash and soak beans over night
Drain and place in dutch oven
Cover with water Bring to boil boil 3 min and then reduce to simmer
Cover and cook one hour if soft add the

cook another 15 min and stir in the salt and the cumin
serve alone or over rice or on a tostada
