Guilt-Free Garlic Bread

Introduction

This is a guilt-free version of our favourite side dish for pasta! This is a guilt-free version of our favourite side dish for pasta!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    - 2 0.5 inch slices Oroweat Carb Counting Bread (or other low-carb/low calorie bread)
    - 2 Tbsp non-hydrogenated margarine (I use Becel)
    - 2 tsp garlic powder (to taste)

Directions

1. Toast pieces of bread dry under broiler.
2. You can either mix together the margarine and garlic powder and then spread it on the bread or spread margarine on the bread and then sprinkle with garlic powder (my preference).
3. Put back under broiler for 15-30 seconds until margarine is melted and a bit browned.

Makes 2 servings of 1 - 1/2 inch thick piece
