Berry Smoothie

Introduction

I make this in the blender the night before, so the berries can thaw. I put my blender on the scale, zero it out and add an ingredient at a time. If I have bananas that are turning brown, I'll peel them and put them in the freezer. They're great in this. This is my breakfast. Ingredients

    12 oz frozen berry medley (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries)
    4 oz soy milk
    4 oz blueberry pomegranate juice
    4 oz plain non fat yogurt
    2 tbs of flax seed (ground)
    1 banana

Directions

The night before, I put my blender on the scale and zero it out, and add one ingredient at a time and zero it out each time. I put it in the fridge, so the berries can thaw, and put it on the blender in the morning. I blend it on a minute on puree. A quick and easy breakfast!
