Introduction

My family loves this. Even my picky eater likes it. I like to use italian flavored tomatoes and tomato paste. My family loves this. Even my picky eater likes it. I like to use italian flavored tomatoes and tomato paste.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 can tomato paste
    1 t. garlic salt or powder
    1 can tomatoes plus spaghetti sauce to make 3 cups
    3 t. italian seasoning
    1 pound grated mozzarella
    16 oz. lowfat cottage cheese
    9 cooked lasagne noodles
    1 lb. ground beef 93% lean

Directions

blend together the tomato products and spices and browned ground beef. Stir in the cottage cheese. Layer three lasagne noodles, 1/3 of the tomato mixture, and 1/3 of the mozzarella in a 9x12 cake pan. Repeat twice. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
