Garden Vegetable Soup (Weight Watchers)

Submitted by: AMARXKY

Introduction

I vary the portions of vegetables in this soup depending on my mood (i.e., more carrots and less zucchini or vice versa). It's a delicious soup no matter what vegetables you put in it, and very low calorie as long as you stick with non-starchy vegetables. • ADD JALEPENOS FOR SPICE AND A CAN OF KIDNEY BEANS FOR PROTEIN. UPS THE CALORIE COUNT A BIT, BUT WORTH IT, AS IT IS FILLING ENOUGH TO BE LUNCH ALONE. - 1/7/13

  • I didn't love this. The broth was tasty with tomatoes and seasonings, but very high in sodium. Maybe it was the cabbage that turned me off. Both times I ate it I couldn't bring myself to finish the bowl, especially after it cooled a bit. This would be good for the 1st week when you are starving. - 1/18/11
