Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce

Introduction

This is delicious! Best crockpot spaghetti sauce recipe I have found so far! This is delicious! Best crockpot spaghetti sauce recipe I have found so far!
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 lb Italian sausage. (Normally I'd cut back on calories and use italian turkey sausage, but I calculated it with pork sausage)
    1 large onion chopped
    8 garlic clove, minced
    1 - 28 ounce can diced tomatoes
    1 - 12 ounce can tomato paste
    1 - 8 ounce can tomato sauce
    2 tbsp dried parsley
    1 tsp chili powder
    1 tsp dried oregano
    2 tsp dried basil
    3 bay leaves
    1 tsp salt
    1 tbsp paprika
    1 tbsp sugar
    2 cups water

Directions

Brown sausage with onion. Drain all fat, place in crock pot, with remaining ingredients. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Some crockpots cook high, so you may want to turn it to low after a couple of hours if yours has a tendency to run high.

    I like a really thick sauce so I didnt add the water. i also added chopped zucchini, carrots, and green pepper to sneak in veges.
