Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup Organic Quinoa
    4 T Organic Flaxseeds
    1 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 T Honey
    1T Ground Cinnamon

Directions

Rinse and drain quinoa. Then mix quinoa with other ingredients. Spread on a sheet pan and bake 375 for 10 minutes. Stir ingredients and bake for additional 10 minutes. let cool and use as topping for greek yogurt. Makes 8 3-Tablespoon servings

  • Fit the idea of a flat, cruncy bar I've been looking for -- pat flat, then score before baking. However, much TOO crunchy. Use a smaller grain, or softer grain, or perhaps a dry cereal such as Wheatena or Cream of Wheat. I'm willing to experiment with this, but will not make it again with quinoa - 8/10/10

  • Using the nutritional breakdown info to TRY and figure out how much of each ingredient to use, is a PAIN. Please list amounts needed otherwise why should anyone even want to bother to make this? Sorry to sound upset, but I am assuming the users of this site are adults. - 7/15/10
