Trifle

Introduction

I've been making different versions of this recipe for years. You can substitute Sugar Free pudding, leave out the cake, use angel food cake instead or switch out the fruit. You can even pour rum into it for a different variation. All tastes great! I've been making different versions of this recipe for years. Ingredients

1 pkg Jello Vanilla Pudding Mix
    3 cups low-fat milk
1 small container Cool Whip (I use sugar-free), thawed
    2 bananas
    1 cup blueberries
    1 cup sliced strawberries
1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
1 container of Walmart Apricot Cream Cheese Swirl Loaf (or any other type of pound cake)

Directions

Mix the pudding mix and milk, let set in refrigerator. After it is set, mix pudding with 1/2 container of Cool Whip. In a large glass bowl, crumble 2 slices of the cake. Pour some of the pudding mixture over and add 1/3rd of the fruit. Layer the cake, pudding and fruit, ending with pudding and crumbled cake on top. Let sit in the refrigerator for an hour or more before serving.
