Breakfast Smoothie

Submitted by: LOVELISA87

Introduction

This is the smoothie I make each morning after my workout for breakfast. I use either the frozen strawberries, frozen strawberries and bananas, or frozen strawberries, bananas, and peaches. Ingredients

1/4 cup of rolled dry oats
1/2 cup of frozen fruit of your choice
    1 cup Silk light vanilla
1/2 cup of plain nonfat yogurt

Directions

You can fiddle with the ingredients to make it more fruity, however this turns out delicious with hints of fruit. I like the high calcium and daily servings that I can get while sneaking some healthy fruit in with it.

Just combine all in a blender and blend until very smooth. The oats will leave a grainy texture if you don't blend long enough.
