Home Made Crockpot Yoghurt

Introduction

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 quart Low Fat Milk 1%
    6oz non fat plain yoghurt (with live active cultures)
    1 sachet of gelatin

Directions

Makes 10 half cups of yoghurt.
Pour milk into 4 quart crock pot.
Sprinkle gelatin over milk.
Turn on pot to low.
After 5 mins, using fork, mix the gelatin into the milk.
Leave for 2 5 hours.
Turn off crock pot and leave for 3 hours. Do not disturb.
Pour 2 cupfuls of the milk into a bowl and add the cup of yoghurt.
Stir to mix.
Pour milk and yoghurt mixture back into crock pot.
Cover crock pot with heavy towels or blanket and leave for 8 to 9 hours.
Scoop into cups with lids - refrigerate.
The yoghurt will firm up when left for a few hours in the fridge.
Will last at least 7 days - ready to make the next batch.
