Candy's Green Protein Shake

Submitted by: BRENDAPSALM91

Introduction

This shake can work as a meal replacement, or as a rejuvenating drink after a hard workout. When I came up with this recipe, my main focus was on the following - greens, protein, calcium, and healthy carbs. Without this shake, I sometimes don't get enough of any of the above. This shake tastes GREAT, and energizes its drinker. This shake can work as a meal replacement, or as a rejuvenating drink after a hard workout. • Wife and I tried this. Was just okay. Like most protein shakes, could use more flavoring. Suggest adding extracts or sugar free jams. Also we used fresh unsalted nut butter to reduce the sodium. - 7/25/10
