Banana French Toast- 1 serving

Ingredients

    1 egg white
    1/2 oz. Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze
    1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. Splenda
    1/4 banana
    2 slices Arnold's 100% Whole Wheat bread

Directions

*Makes 1 serving, 2 slices french toast*

1. Whisk together the egg white, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and Splenda in a shallow bowl.
2. Mash the banana (with a fork) and add it to the egg mixture. Mix well to combine.
3. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
4. Dip 1 slice of bread into the egg mixture. Let the bread soak and turn once to coat all sides.
5. Lightly spray a nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Place the bread slice in the skillet and cook until golden brown.
6. Place the other slice of bread in the egg mixture.
7. Cook the bread in the skillet for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
8. Transfer the cooked slice to the oven when it's finished and repeat with the second slice.
9. Serve with sugar free maple syrup (optional) and enjoy!
