Adjust chili powder to your own tastes, feel free to add some hot sauce if you like it really hot. Ingredients



    * *Goya 16 bean soup mix (dry), 3.5 cup (remove)
    * *Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 16 oz (remove)
    * Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    * Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    * Garlic, 3 clove (remove)
    * Pacific Natural Foods Organic Free Range Chicken Broth, 1 cup, 4 serving (remove)
    * *Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 1 cup (remove)
    * Chili powder, 1 tbsp (remove)
    * *Colgin Liquid Smoke, 1 tsp (remove)

Directions

Soak beans as per package instructions.

Bring 4 cups of chicken broth to a boil. Add beans. Reduce to simmer. Simmer for approximately 1 hour. Add tomatoes, garlic, peppers, onions, flavor packet from beans, chili powder, liquid smoke. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 30 minutes. Adjust seasonings as needed.
