Skinny Chick Green Tea FrappeSubmitted by: CARULUNAE
IntroductionTaste and texture is similar to Starbucks green tea frappe! Frozen fruit offers a lot more nutrients than the ice and syrups!
Non dairy to eliminate casein which interferes with the green tea antioxidants. Taste and texture is similar to Starbucks green tea frappe! Frozen fruit offers a lot more nutrients than the ice and syrups!

1 c Silk vanilla almond milk
1 c frozen Canary/Krenshaw melon cubes
1 tsp matcha powder
You could sub a different milk and add 1-2 drops vanilla extract, but I have not yet tried this.
Combine all ingredients in a large cup or a deep bowl and blend with a handheld immersion blender.
Serve in a clear cup or glass to enjoy the pretty green color, put your feet up, and sip with a straw.
Makes 1 2-cup serving

I personally love Canary Korean Melon, but I have no idea what the Matcha Powder is. Can you please enlighten me or let me know of a substitute if any at all just in case I can't find it in my area? I will be trying this; sounds deelish!! - 7/29/10
