Reduced-Fat Whole Wheat Baking Mix

Introduction

Ingredients

    3 cups whole wheat flour
    3 cups all purpose flour (or more whole wheat)
    2 1/2 tsp salt
    2 1/2 Tbsp baking powder
    1/3 cup spectrum shortening

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, mix the flours, salt and baking powder. Measure in the shortening. Mix the shortening into the flour using a fork and fingers. Store in a tightly closed container.

Recipe is easily cut in half.
