4oz chopped green chili's 2 C onion 2 ribs celery 1 large leek- white only 6 cloves of garlic 2 Tbs cumin 2 Tbs oregano 2 Tbs basil 1 Tsp rosemary 1 Tbs olive oil 8 C chicken Broth or water 2 C navy beans 2 C great northern beans 16 oz chicken breast 1/2 C cilantro leaves juice from 2 fresh limes juice from 2 fresh lemons
In sauce pan place chili's, onions, celery, leeks, garlic, cumin, oregano, basil, rosemary, olive oil and pepper. Cook over medium heat until tender. Add 8 Cups broth/water, beans, and chicken. Simmer for 40 minutes. Add lime and lemon juices and cilantro and serve immediately.
