Garden Green Beans

Introduction

Simple green bean side dish using what's coming out of the garden. Simple green bean side dish using what's coming out of the garden.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 cups snap beans, trimmed and snapped
    1/2 cup chopped ripe tomatoes
    1 tbsp finely chopped elephant garlic (or plain garlic or onion)
    1 tbsp olive oil
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Boil green beans until al dente then drain.
Heat oil in pan and sautee tomatoes and garlic for 2 minutes, then add green beans and cook for about 5 minutes or so. The longer you cook the mushier your beans, so that's up to you.
Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.
Leftovers are great tossed in soups/stews.
