6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup diced onion
4 cups frozen green beans
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 cup chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste
Cut bacon into small bits and fry in a medium saucepan until done. Remove the bacon, wipe grease from the pan and saute the onion a little water (about 5 minutes). Add garlic and a splash more water to saucepan and cook for another minute or two. Add green beans and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 30 minutes. Add salt or pepper if you think you need any. Add the cooked bacon back to the pan and stir through. Serve.
