Mashed Potatoes and Turnips

Introduction

Ingredients

    900 grams boiled turnips, peeled
    300 grams boiled red potatoes, unpeeled
    1 tsp salt
    0.33 cup fat free plain yogurt

Directions

Wash and pare turnips. Wash potatoes. Chop potatoes and turnips into cubes. Boil until potatoes are quite tender and turnips are somewhat tender. Mash using a hand masher or electric mixer on low speed. Add in one teaspoon salt and 0.33 cup fat free plain yogurt and continue mashing until consistency is still somewhat lumpy. Makes 4 servings, about 1 cup each.
