Introduction

I would describe this as a creamy thick chicken soup. Delicious over homemade biscuits or noodles. Serve with a huge spinach salad and lime jello with low fat whipped cream. Ingredients

    1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1 onion, sliced
    2 stalks celery, sliced
    2 carrots, pared and sliced
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 cup water
    Parsley, chopped

Directions

Season chicken with salt and paprika. Place sliced vegetables and bay leaf in crock pot. Place chicken on top of vegetables. Pour in chicken broth. Cover and cook on LOW setting for about 6 hours. One hour before serving; turn to HIGH setting. Make a smooth paste of flour and water and stir into liquid in crock pot. Cover and cook until thickened. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve over egg noodles, rice or biscuits.
