Beef chuck pot roast 3 pounds
1 large onion, chopped
3 potatoes peeled and cut into large pieces
4 carrots peeled and cut into large pieces
1 cup warm water
2 beef bouillon cubes OR onion soup mix
Cream of mushroom soup may be added - Only use 1 bouillon cube and 1/2 cup water. Mix with soup and pour over roast. Cook as above.

Mix together bouillon and water. Place vegetables in mixture. Top with pot roast and coat roast with broth. Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.
