Quinoa Granola

Quinoa Granola

Introduction

This is adapted from the Best Life Cookbook. Serve this plain as is or with milk, over yogurt etc. This is adapted from the Best Life Cookbook. Serve this plain as is or with milk, over yogurt etc.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 c raw quinoa
    1 cup regular oats
    1/4 chopped walnuts
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 sugar free pancake syrup
    1/4 craisins dried cranberries

Directions

Make quinoa according to package directions and drain-rinsing if necessary.
Combine all ingredients except the craisins and spread evenly on 2 cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated 225* oven for 45 or until dried and crunchy. Stir up every 15 minutes or so through out baking. When baked, mix in craisins. Can be stored in airtight container or baggies. Serve in a bowl w/ soymilk or eat plain, serve over yogurt etc.
