Kids love this!!
To make this recipe healthier you could try to use some type of light butter or spread. I should try it but I just don't really trust the recipe to come out good. I just stick with using my organic butter because I don't know enough about all these spreads and stuff. If you find a substitute for the butter that works for you...please let me know!

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Mix Oat Bran, White Flour and Whole Wheat Flour evenly to make 2 cups. Mix in the Granulated Sugar ( 1/2 cup), Agave Nectar (1/2 cup), 3 Tablespoons of melted butter, 1 cup of fat free organic milk (I have also used whole grain rice milk and it turned out great) , 2 veggie feed, free range egg whites, 5 tablespoons of applesauce, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

    For the Streusel:
    Butter, unsalted, 5 tbsp
    Applesauce, unsweetened, 1 Tablespoon
    Flour, white, .25 cup
    Flour, whole grain, .25 cup
    Brown Sugar, 2/3 cup, packed
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tbsp
    Mix together until crumbly. If the mixture if too moist...add a little whole wheat flour until it is crumbly.

    Place 1/2 the batter in a greased or sprayed 13X9X2 inch pan. Now crumble and spread 1/2 the streusel over the batter. Now spread the remaining batter over streusel. Lastly place the remaining streusel over the top.

Directions

Bake on 350. for 35-40 minutes - until toothpick comes out clean.

Serve warm!!!
