Basic Flan Recipe

Introduction

This is the BASE recipe for various low carb flans.

Fillings should add up to about 225g worth.

Suggested Fillings:
Mushrooms (see recipe already made)
Vegetarian Sausage + red peppers
Mixed peppers
Flavoured Cheeses
Leeks
Toasted pinenuts/seeds topping

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    Egg, fresh, 2 large
    Cottage Cheese, 1% Milkfat, 300 grams
    Yellow Mustard, 1 tablespoon
    Pepper, black, 0.5 tsp
    Fresh Chives, 1 tbsp chopped

Directions

Blend eggs, cheese, mustard and together.

Place chosen extras in flan baking dish and pour over egg/cheese mixture. Sprinkle chives and black pepper on top.

(pre-cook any fillings)

Bake at 180'C (350'F, Gas4) for 30mins until set and golden.

Serves 2.
