Ingredients

    Small ham hock for seasoning only
    small bag of dried split peas
    one can of chicken broth
    two cans of water
    garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika or other spices to taste
    .

Directions

Add all ingredients and cook for an hour or so, adding water as necessary.
