Olive Garlic Croutons

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    6 oz stale ciabatta or other Italian or French style bread, cubed
    4 T Peloponnese Olive spread (or 1/4 cup kalamata olives zipped up in processor with 1T olive oil, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, dash salt)
    1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with some olive oil spray.

Toss bread cubes with olive spread and herbs. Lay on cookie sheet in a single layer and bake for about 10 minutes. Turn and bake another 7-10 minutes, or until cubes are lightly browned, but not burning.

Remove from oven. Cool to room temperature and use to top salads or whatever strikes your fancy.

Serves 4
