Introduction

This uses less expensive peanut butter instead of the traditional tahini. I love it just as much! Great with veggies and whole wheat crackers/tortillas. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    15 oz can of chickpeas, (1 2/3 cup cooked)
    1/4 cup water
    1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh)
    2 Tbsp parsley
    2 Tbsp peanut butter
    2 tsp minced garlic
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 Tbsp. Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

Rinse the chickpeas and drain well. Place everything in a blender or bowl and mash with potato masher. Get it as smooth as possible. Chill until ready to serve.
