Ingredients

Crust
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
Filling
2 large egg whites
3/4 cup granulated sugar
frozen berries or fruit slightly thawed
(strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, mango are all great)
2 TBSP lemon juice
1 cup whipping cream (or 2 cups defrosted cool whip)
Directions
Mix crust mixture and spread on large baking sheet. Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes until golden. Stir twice. Remove from oven and let cool. Break up large chunks. Scatter 2/3 of the mixture on the bottom of a 10 inch springform pan, or a 9x13 inch pan.
Filling:
In a very large bowl place egg whites, sugar, fruit and lemon juice. Beat on high with mixer until thickened and volume is increase. Takes about 10 minutes. In a separate bowl beat cream until stiff. Fold this into the berry mixture intil thoroughly incorporated. Pour into pan with the crumbs. Sprinkle rest of crumbs over the top. Cover and freeze several hours of overnight. Can also be made days ahead and kept in freezer.
