Vegetarian Baked Beans

Introduction

Easy crock pot recipe, choc full o' potassium and protein Easy crock pot recipe, choc full o' potassium and protein
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb bag great northern beans, soaked overnight and drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 cup molasses
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp dry mustard
    2 tsp red wine vinegar
    2 cups diced tomatoes
    1 tsp salt

Directions

Combine all ingredients in 3-quart crock pot and stir. Add two cups of water and stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Cook in crockpot on high 4-6 hours, or until beans are soft, stirring occasionally.

makes 12 1/2 cup servings
