Ingredients

    Water, tap, 3 cup (8 fl oz)
    yellow corn meal, 16 tbsp
    Butter, salted, .13 cup
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, .25 cup

Directions

Bring water to a boil. Pour in cornmeal slowly - stirring constantly. Add salt and butter. Cook slowly for 20-30 minutes, and stir often with a wooden spoon. The polenta should be thick, but soft and smooth. When it is ready, stir in teh grated Parmesan and cook a few minutes more.
