Betty's Low-carb Sloppy Joes

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1.5 pounds 95% lean ground beef
    4 T bell pepper (I used red or orange)
    1 15 3/4 oz. can Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic and Oregano
    1 1/2 tsp Red Wine Vinegard
    1 T Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 T Splenda
    1 T Yellow mustard
    1 tsp chili powder
    2 tsp black pepper
    1/4 cup water
    1 T corn starch

Directions

1)Brown ground meat.

2)Add bell pepper.

3)In small bowl, mix together diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, red wine vinegar, black pepper, chili powder and Splenda and add to skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.

4)Mix 1/4 cup cold water and 1 tablespoon corn starch in separate cup. Once thoroughly mixed, add to skillet. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. (The longer you simmer, the better the taste.)

Makes 6-1/2 cup servings.
