Cashew / Pimento Sauce - 2T

Ingredients

    1 c water
    ¼ t ground dill seed
    ¾ c cashew pieces 3 T yeast flakes
    2 T sesame seeds
    ½ c pimentos
    1 ¼ t garlic powder
    1-2 T lemon juice
    ¼ c oats (OMIT FOR SAUCE)
    2 T onion powder



Tips


Directions

Put all ingredients in VitaMix and whiz on high for 3-6 minutes until thick and hot.
Poor into pint jar.

Without Vitamix:
Blend all ingredients on high 1-3 minutes until creamy.
Pour into saucepan
Cook over medium-high heat stirring constantly until thickened

Yields: 2 cups 2T = 1 serving
