1 lb ground turkey
2 cups onion, chopped
2 cups peppers, chopped
2 cans diced tomatoes with garlic and basil, drained
1 can red kidney beans, drained not rinsed
1 large can of tomato sauce
1 tablespoon of Emirle Original Essence
salt and pepper to taste
2. Drain turkey and toss in a slow cooker with the rest of the ingredients.
3. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 3 hours.
4. Serve over baked potatoes, or with baked tortilla chips or alone in a bowl.
