Chicken StirFry

Introduction

Flavorful, saucey, low calorie stirfry. Flavorful, saucey, low calorie stirfry.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 -Chicken Breast, bone and skin removed
    2 cups -Sugar Snap Pea Pods
    4 cups-Mixed Veggies, California Style(broccoli, cauliflower, carrots-if frozen, allow to thaw slightly)
    1/2 cup Water

    1 cup Cold Water
    2 tbsp-Corn Starch
    4 tbsp-China Lily Soy Sauce
    1 tsp-Granulated Sugar
    1 tsp-Garlic powder
    dash Salt

Directions

Heat oil in pan or wok. Cut Chicken breast in small strips or chunks. Stirfry chicken until done. Remove from pan until later.

Add Pea Pods and Mixed Veggies to pan with 1/2 cup of water. Turn down heat, put lid on and steam for approx. 3 minutes.

Mix the 1 cup of water with all remaining ingredients.

Turn up pan/wok heat and remove lid. Stirfry Veggies for 5 minutes. Add sauce and chicken and stir until sauce is thickened.

Serves 6 ( 1-1/4 cup servings)

Great over wild rice, couscous, or pasta.
