Spicy Chichen Chow Mein

Introduction

Adapted from the Rival Crock Pot recipe book Adapted from the Rival Crock Pot recipe book
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 to 1.5 lb skinless, boneless chicken breast cut into 1-in pieces
    4 large carrots,thinly sliced
    1small yellow onion
    3 stalks of celery, sliced
    1cup of reduced sodium chicken broth
    1/3 c of reduced sodium soy sauce
    1/4 tsp+ crushed red pepper flakes
    1/4 tsp ground ginger (I always omit this because I don't like it)
    1 clove of garlic, minced
    1 8-oz can of sliced water chestnuts ( I always omit these because I don't like them)
    1- 14 oz can of bamboo


Directions

Place ingredients in the slow cooker in their order on the ingredients list.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours
