Introduction

Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    2 cups large flaked oatmeal - not instant or quick cooking oatmeal
    1/3 cup oat bran
    3/4 cup of slivered almonds
    1/3 cup of sunflower seeds
    10 dried apricots - chopped very fine

Directions

Make sure you use large flake oatmeal - not the instant or quick cooking kind. Mix the first 5 ingredients together and place in large plastic bag. Crush with rolling pin. Add dried apricots. (You can substitute dried cranberries or raisins.) The night before, add 1/3 cup of skim milk to 1/3 c of the mixture and refrigerate. In the morning microwave if desired and you can add 1/3 cup of fat-free yogurt to add some extra flavour.
