Whole Wheat Buttermilk Waffles

Introduction

Yummy healthy waffles that are crisp on the outside and temder on the inside! Yummy healthy waffles that are crisp on the outside and temder on the inside!
Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

    1.5 cups organic whole wheat flour
    1 cup organic unbleached flour
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 tablespoon raw organic suger
    1.5 cups fresh lowfat buttermilk
    5 tablespoons grapeseed oil
    3 tablespoons unsalted organic butter
    1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

Mix all dry ingredients together. Add wet and mix just until blended. (Do Not overmix). Make waffles according to your waffle iron instructions. Top with fresh fruit, no sugar added preserves or maple syrup. Makes about 14 waffles.
