Milk 1 litre
Basmati rice, soaked 50 grams
Sugar free 3 measure spoons
Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
Pistachios, chopped 12 pc
Saffron (kesar) a few strands
Add the rice flour to this and mix well so that no lumps are formed.
Dissolve the saffron in warm milk and add this to the above mixture.finally remove from stove and add sugarfree or other sweetner
Pour the phirni in bowls and garnish with pistachios .
Allow it to cool and set in the refrigerator and serve cold.
