This pizza dough isn't just flour and water, made with wheat flour, wheat bran, wheat germ, and cornmeal, this dough packs and energy boost! This pizza dough isn't just flour and water, made with wheat flour, wheat bran, wheat germ, and cornmeal, this dough packs and energy boost!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 tbsp what bran
    1 tbsp wheat germ
    1 cup white flour
    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tbsp cornmeal (plus extra for kneading)
    2 tbsp rolled oats
    1 tbsp honey
    1 package dry yeast
    1 cup warm water
    1/2 tsp salt

Directions

1. Proof yeast in small bowl with honey and warm water.
2. Blend all flours, oats, and cornmeal in a food processor.
3. Combine flour and yeast in a medium bowl. Mix until moist and dough forms a ball.
4. Knead for about 5-8 minutes.
5. Let rise for 30 minutes in a warm area.
6. Divide dough into two equal portions and roll out to about 1/4" thick.

Makes 4 servings of 2 small pizzas
