Creamed Chicken

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/4 cup butter
    1 onion, fineley chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/3 cup flour
    1 1/2 cups chicken broth
    1 1/2 cups milk
    about 2-3 cups cooked chopped chicken breast (1 pound)
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper

Directions

Heat oil in saucepan. Add onion and garlic and saute until tender. Stir in flour, until absorbed by the fat. Gradually add the chicken and mik. Cook and stir until it boils. Boil for one minute. Stir in the chicken and salt and pepper. Cook and stir to blend flavors. Serve over rice or noodles (or in a recipe) 4 servings
