Italian Bagel Thins

Introduction

This is a wonderful little treat that is easy to throw together and can be altered to fit anyones taste. This is a wonderful little treat that is easy to throw together and can be altered to fit anyones taste.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 Thomas Bagel Thin
    2 slices low-fat mozzarella cheese
    2 Slices tomato
    I can't believe it's not butter spray
    Garlic Salt
    Italian seasoning (if desired)

Directions

Heat oven to broil.
Separate bagel thin and spray each half with butter spray. Sprinkle both halves with garlic salt and any other seasonings,
put one slice of cheese on each half, then top with tomato. Place on baking sheet and put under broiler watching closely. Bagels are done when outer edges are golden brown and cheese is bubbly, about 2-3 minutes.
This recipe can be altered by adding other veggies/seasonings even adding a meat.
Makes 1 serving.

  • I didn't know healthier food can taste so good! I used ground oragano and minced garlic. This was so tasty, one of my favorite recipes. I WILL make this again. My picky son, age 7 even liked it! - 9/5/10
