Introductiontop with some yogurt for a complete breakfast. top with some yogurt for a complete breakfast.
1 1/4 cups Power Flour (or any whole grain flour)
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 egg yolk
1/3 cup milk
6 cups thinly sliced, peeled apple
1/2 cup sucanat
1/4 tsp stevia
1 tsp Saigon cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine the filling ingredients.
Roll out bottom crust and place in pie dish. (Or do what I do and just press it in). Put apple filling in pan. Top with remainder of rolled out dough to form a top crust.
Bake for 50 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
