Beef and Vegetable Crockpot Soup

Introduction

So good!! Great meal for wintery days or fall evenings when the veggies are flying out of your garden! So good!! Great meal for wintery days or fall evenings when the veggies are flying out of your garden!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 carrots
    2 celery stalks
    1/2 large onion
    2 (4 oz.) del Monico steaks (or any steak pieces)
    1 14 oz. can beef broth
    1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes (w/ juice)
    1/2 tsp. sage
    1 tsp. thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 bay leaves
    2 cups elbow macaroni (or other small pasta)

Directions

Put everything except macaroni in the crock pot. Cook on low for 7-9 hours. About 30 minutes before you are ready to eat, stir in the macaroni and allow to cook until soft. Makes 8 1 cup servings.
