BBQ Beef - (1/2 cup servings)

Ingredients

    1 Tbs whole wheat flour
    1/4 teas garlic powder
    1/4 teas onion powder
    16 oz round steak cut into cubes
    1 C low sodium beef broth
    2 Tbs liquid smoke
    1/3 C BBQ sauce

Directions

In a large plastic bag combine flour, garlic, and onion powder. Add beef and shake well. until evening coated. refrigerate 15 minutes.
Brown beef in sauce pan over med. heat. Add broth and liquid smoke. When liquid comes to a boil reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until very tender.
Discard liquid and shred beef and add BBQ sauce. Serve.
